FanMoms is an online community for any guardian who is passionate about fandoms.  Who said parents can't love comics, superheros, sci-fi, horror, and more? There is no rule that says we can't get into the fun with our kids and cosplay with the best of them.  FanMoms offers creative ideas, parenting tips, movie and show reviews, product recommendations and more! Do I have to be a mom to be a part of the FanMoms community?

 

Heck no, everyone is welcome! The idea of FanMoms was inspired by a mom, but the idea was never to exclude anyone. You can be a mom, dad, aunt, grandparent, or just a plain nerd like us! If you have a fandom, then come geek out with us! 

 

How do I become a part of FanMoms?

 

Sign up for our newsletter to keep up to date on new articles, exciting events, giveaways, contests and more. Interested in contributing an article? We accept online submissions. Click here to complete a submission form and FanMoms will contact you within two weeks if interested. We will also have FanMom events and meet-ups at local conventions.  Interested in becoming a FanMom on the Ground? Let us know!  We will send you a swag bag of goodies to get you ready for your local convention. All that we ask is that you represent FanMoms by wearing your official FanMoms shirt, take photos, and report back to us about your favs at the convention. It's that simple.

 

What will you do with email?  Are you going to infiltrate my inbox?

 

FanMoms is committed to your privacy. We will never sell or offer your email address or personal information to anyone. We will use it specifically to contact you with FanMom business only and we will not send more than one email per week. If at anytime you have questions, please feel free to contact us.  Remember, you can opt out at anytime, then again, why would you want to? 

 

What do I get for being a contributing writer of FanMoms?

 

FanMoms is all about embracing your fandom.  We love giving our community the opportunity to write about their interests. At this time, we do not offer pay for contributing articles, however, we hope to change this as we continue to grow! So grow with us! Currently, contributing writers (and their alter egos) will be listed on our Staff page. If you have a current blog or website, we can link it on this page. 

 

What do I get for being a FanMom on the Ground? 

 

As a FanMom on the Ground, you are representing our online community at your local conventions and fandom events. We love seeing members of FanMoms out and about so we help you prepare. Complete on online form about four weeks before your con date. We will send you an Official FanMom swag bag, which will contain a t-shirt, wristband, water bottle, and more. (In fact, some random swag bags will contain souvenir money.) On the day of your con, we ask that you wear your FanMom shirt and take as many pictures and videos as you can.  Within one week of the con's end, send your photos and/or vidoes to FanMoms.  That's it, so go out there and get your geek on!
